Burlington, Old Town Museum

The next day I went to the town of Burlington. They have an Old Town Museum with 21 buildings. There was no one else there that day, so I pretended I was in a Ghost town and I could play anywhere I wanted. It was so much fun. I went in and out of all the old buildings. I saw a barber shop and a beauty parlor. I went into the old saddle shop and picked out one I liked. I saw an ice cream parlor and I visited with the sheriff and went into the jail. I peeked into an old safe. I went into an old pharmacy. There were so many bottles and jars because the pharmacist would have to mix up any medicine that you needed. There were not very many hospitals in the old west. I saw where the farmers brought their milk in heavy metal pails. In the cities, a box was left on the front porch and a milkman would come around and leave you milk. Do you think he would be surprised to find a monkey in the box? I visited an old church and a school. I saw a doll collection and saw anotther buffalo and an Indian teepee. I saw old stoves and furniture. It took me a long time to visit eveything. At thee end of my visit I met the lady that takes care of the town. her name was Lavila. She said I could call her Vi. She played beautiful music for me and even let me help her. Maybe someday I will go back and play with her again. There was a store in the town and I found some cousins. Can you tell which monkey is me?

I did a lot more today, but it is time for this tired monkey to go to bed. Since you are the Kahunas, I think I will use one of my favorite words, ALOHA. Do you know what that means?
