Giant animals part 2

When I told the lady in the museum about our class, she gave me a book for you about how they found many of the bones in the museum.I also got you a book with lots of pictures.  Next I went to The Colorado National Monument. It is a very huge park with beautiful, colorful rocks. I sat on the ground at the ranger station and played guessing games with rocks and feathers and pieces of fossils. I looked way down in a canyon and saw lots of strange shaped rocks. I liked to make guesses about what they looked like. They were shaped by wind and rain and water running over them.

When I started driving again, I passed many beautiful ski resorts with ski lifts going up the mountains. It started snowing again and it was a little hard to see. I went through a very long tunnel high up in the mountains. It was called The Eisenhauer Tunnel.  It was named for one of our presidents. I hd a vey exciting day and now I am getting in my cozy bed. Good night and hugs from a tired Junior.

  1. Goodnight, Junior. We thought the dinosaurs looked scary, but awesome! Thank you for getting the books for us, we can't wait to see them. The dinosaur truck was awesome, Michael and Nate told us it was made after a triceratops. Marissa thought that you looked cute on the truck. We wish there was a museum like that close to our school, so we could take a field trip there! The dinosaur robots were cool. Miss Cavanaugh thought one looked like he had a hair-do!
