Picture rocks

Hello again,Were you wondering about the rocks? I went to a place called Grimes Point. Today it is part of a desert, but many thousands of years ago these rocks were covered with water. The Indians would hide here and wait for animals to come and drink. They used the animals for food and to make their clothes and even their homes. These rocks became very special to the Indians and so they made pictures on the rocks. Some pictures were carved and chipped with other rocks. Some of the rocks were painted. This kind of art is called petroglyphs and pictographs. I went for a hike around the rocks and found many pictures. I think one looked like a snake. I think one. Was not very old because it looked like it said cow.
Next I found out that highway 50, the road I was on was once used by the Pony Express. They wer cowboys that rode ther horses very fast across our whole country.When the horses got tired from running so fast and so far, the cowboys would trade them at stations or houses. They were carrying mail. Why do you think the mailman did not deliver the mail? I saw lots of very old towns and lots of old buildings. I felt like I was in an old cowboy movie. The weather started getting very cold and so I found a nice warm camp to stay in. When I woke up I drove through snow and rain and entered a new state. It is called Utah. NowI am on highway70.It got a little warmer so I found a place called Sand Point lookout and I played in the rocks. There were lots of cool places to hide. It started to snow again and I got to play for awhile. Do you seethe pictures of the huge trees in the forest? How big do you think they are? Look at the next picture. Did you guess right? It started to snow again, so I had to hurry on my way to my next camp. I went across another border to a different state. I am still on Highway 70. Look at your map. What state am I in?
