Hi everyone. I have been busy doing a lot of driving with Cmor so I have to catch up now. I was in Fargo North Dakota at the visitor's center and it started to snow just a little. I walked around and they have a walk of fame which is a binch of squares on the sidewalk. It has the hands and footprints of famous people that have visited here. Lots of country singers perform here. Do any of you like country music? I saw two sets of large footprints. They belonged to two muppets, Bert and his friend Ernie. Then Cmor took me across the border to another state. Now we are in Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes. we went to another museum to see a replica of a Viking Ship. A replica means it is a copy of something. This ship was sailed all the way to Norway after it was finished. It has a dragon head on the top. The family and friends of the man who built it sailed it for him. It is called The Hjemkomst. That means Homecoming. We saw a movie about it. It is a very good story.
Then we went outside the museum and saw another replica. This time it was a Church. Copied from a Church in Norway built in1140. Lots of wood. I wanted to climb around inside. Sometimes it is really hard to follow the rules.
I went to see the world's largest happy face. It was on a water tower. A long time ago, little towns would build water towers and fill them with water incase there was a fire in town. Now the towns usually just use them to write their town name on. Next to the tower was a can of Pepsi. It would hold enough Pepsi for all the families of everyone in your school and have some left over. But that much soda would not be good for your teeth would it?
I went today to a baseball stadium for the Minnesota Twins. I sat in a cig glove and I saw a big baseball too. Then I met all the Peanut gang in their baseball clothes. I even saw Snoopy's girlfriend. After going to The great Mall of America, I wished we had a mall like that at home. It has a whole amusement park in the middle. I finished up the day at The Sculpture Garden. One of my facorite sculptors made a piece called Spoonbridge and Cherry. His name is Claes Oldenburg. He makes giant sculptures of ordinary things. I tried to pretend I was picking up the spoon. OK, I am caught up and I am ready to rest. hugs from Junior
