Hi everyone. Today was a lovely day in my neighborhood. It was the first day I could eat my breakfast outside. I had cereal with fruit in it. Was it nice in your neighborhood? After Cmor and I left camp we went into the city of Minneapolis to a factory to see our friend Bill. His company is called Pioneer wheel and rim. Bill is the man who gave Cmor new shoes. Cmore calls them Tires and wheels but I say they are Cmor's shoes. Bill took us around his warehouse to see where he keeps all the parts he sends to people when they order something. Have any of you ever ordered something and had it sent to your house? It takes a lot of people to find what you want in the warehouse and then put it on a truck or train or airplane and then deliver it to your house. That is why sometimes it takes a while to get there. Sometimes it is very hard to wait for what you want. Bill gave me a new hat but I think it is a little big.
Next we drove across the river to St. Paul. St. Paul and Minneapolis are called the twin cities because they are right next to each other and are a lot alike. I bet some of you know twins. Do you think they look alike? We went to the State Capitol but it was closed because they are remodeling it inside and out. I liked seeing all the big machinery and cranes. We went to a great big Cathedral and looked inside. There were lots of statues and stained glass windows. I even saw a miniature of the Church.
We had an ice cream at a special McDonalds. Inside it looked very old. It was decorated like the 1950's. I danced with Elvis and the Blues Brothers. Then I was warm and tired so I sat at a table that looked like a coke bottle and had some water. It was a fun day. I liked that it was not windy. Hugs from Jr.
