friday Fargo north dakota

hello from Junior. I am still in North Dakota. When I woke up, I was afraid that maybe Cmor blew into another state. I have a story to tell you that you might think is gross but it is true. Time to use your imagination again. You are in a wagon crossing the plains with your family. Everything you own is in the wagon. You look around and all you see growing is grass as far as you can see. There is no room in your moving house for wood. What do you use for your fire to keep warm and to cook? Now I am going to tell you what all the kids most important job was. You have to go out everyday and gather up dried buffalo chips. That means Bison poop. Yeap. But it is not like regular poop. All Bison eat is grass and other plants so when it dries up it does not smell and it is hard and burns really well. Isn't it wonderful how nature supplied the pioneers with what they needed? I wanted to go to the Capitol building but I guess I woke uo too early because it was not open. I went to fort Abraham Lincoln and visited On a Slant Indian Village. Guess why it was named that. I saw a model of what the village used to look like and then I went into an actual earth lodge. The indians built them first with wood and then piled earth around them to keep them strong and warm. They built them with a hole in the center of the roof so the fire in the middle of the floor would let the smoke out. In the fort I climbed up a hill and saw the block houses where the soldiers would stay to guard the fort. I went up the ladders inside all the way to the top. Can you see me looking out the gun hole at the very top? I could see Cmor way down in the parking lot. I met a soldier and he took me into the commisary or store house. There were cases with things the archiologist found when they were digging around the old fort. There were pieces od dishes and even toys. I saw a doll head and little toy rifles. I walked over to see General Custers House. I could see the old rock foundations where the officers and soldiers homes used to be.

I saw a giant crane but was afraid to stand by him because it was too windy. Next I went to Jamestown and saw the world's biggest Bison. I sat by his hoof and he did not even know I was there.  I am a lucky sock monkey to see so many different things. Cmor is getting ready to takeme to a newstate. I wonder which one? Hugs from Cmor
