north Dakota Day 1

Hi kids, Today I am in another state. North Dakota. It is still very windy. Last night Cmor was rocking and rolling because of the wind. I was inside pretending I was sleeping in a cradle. Cmor rocked me to sleep. I went to Roosevelt National Monument. It was named for our 26th president because he used to have a ranch here. He lived in a cabin and raised cattle. He was one of the first peopleto realize we have to be careful not to waste our oil and trees and water so we will always have enough for everyone. He also started most of our National Parks.I saw dinosaur bones and petrified wood from millions od years ago. It felt like rock, not wood. I also tried on Longhorn steer horns. I saw some dinosaurs and my favorite thing so far in North Dakota was Salem Sue.Cmor saw her first far away in the distance on a hill. When we got close we realized she is the worlds largest Holstein cow. It was so windy on the hill, I had to squeeze into one of her hooves so I did not fly away. Isn't that the biggest cow foot you ever saw? There is not a lot in North Dakota so far. Maybe it all blew away. Hugs from Junior
